Waterloo-Wellington TESL (TESL WW) is an affiliate of TESL Ontario. We are a non-profit, volunteer organization of educators and specialists who serve the professional needs of practitioners of English as a Second or Additional Language. We work at school boards, LINC, post-secondary institutions, and private organizations. TESL WW has ESL providers in many communities, large and small, including Arthur, Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener, Mount Forest, Orangeville, Stratford, and Waterloo. There are over 300 TESL WW members teaching children and adults.
The YMCA Mentorship Program connects newcomers to Canada with local professionals in their field. This program is currently seeking ESL professionals to meet with and support new Canadians who are interested in teaching English here. If you would like to become a mentor, or to learn more about the YMCA Mentorship Program, please contact Marsha Schlueter at YMCA Immigrant Services by emailing Marsha.Schlueter@ytr.ymca.ca.
